Petzl E+Lite LED Headlamp
The Petzl E+Lite might not be the brightest LED headlamp on the market, and given its miniature size, it could almost be mistaken for a toy. But don’t be fooled: this is a serious headlamp that’s a great choice for reliable and convenient emergency lighting, and it packs some impressive features into a slim package.
The E+Lite is perfect to keep on hand for unexpected encounters, such as changing a tire on a dark and stormy night. The super-lightweight headlamp weighs less than an ounce, and Petzl promises it can be stored (with batteries) for up to 10 years. The shock-resistant light is waterproof, it will function in extreme hot and cold temperatures, and it boasts battery life up to 45 hours.
Petzl E+Lite LED Headlamp
Three white LEDs provide a 16-lumen beam that gives illumination up to 60 feet, and a single red LED is perfect for preserving night vision. The E+Lite offers economy and maximum brightness options, plus red and white strobes for signaling. The included strap and clip allow it to be attached to the head, neck, or wrist, or it can be mounted on a belt or backpack.
